Armenian Ministry of Education and Science and Microsoft Innovation Center Armenia (MIC Armenia) signed a memorandum of understanding today, aimed at improving the quality of Armenian education, elaborating education programs, as well as incorporating innovations in the country.
The memorandum was signed between Armenian Minister of Education and Science Levon Mkrtchyan and Head of Regional Office of Microsoft in CIS Ronald Binkofski.
Microsoft will invest software products in the Armenian education process and encourage through various initiatives the commitment of teachers and students in self-development, as well as their participation in seminars, trainings, conferences and experience exchange between the teachers.
Minister of Education and Science Levon Mkrtchyan attached importance to the activity of Microsoft in Armenian education during the last years.
Country Manager of Microsoft Armenia Liana Korkotyan informed that the company would support the elaboration and implementation of the strategy for innovative educational initiatives.
Programs, directed at the incorporation of ICT in Armenian education system will also be supported.
