Rostelecom supports organization of distant learning courses

Trial distant learning courses for schools in Yerevan and marzes were launched today at Ayb School owing to the joint efforts of the Ministry of Education and Science of Armenia and Rostelecom Armenia.

Ayb School established simultaneous connection with the Lernadzor village school in Kapan, School N1 in Sevan and School N5 in Ijevan, using Rostelecom’s web-conference service.

“The presence of new technologies in our lives is a reality now, and Rostelecom implements continuous projects of introduction of new, fast technologies into various spheres, including education,” said Rostelecom Armenia CEO Hayk Faramazyan.

Distant learning courses between schools in Yerevan and marzes will be continuous.
