Ucom and World Vision support another family from a bordering village

Within joint charity program of Ucom Foundation and World Vision “Keep children in families”, support was given to a family that lives in Baghanis bordering village, Tavush: the family consists of Martun (38 years old), his 4 underage children and the grandmother of the family.

“This program allows Ucom mobile connection subscribers to contribute to the strengthening of the country. Ucom Foundation, in its turn, doubles the amount and allocates to families that need it. The program creates a solid foundation that provides stability to farmers and links them to their homeland”, Ucom Foundation Director Ashot Barseghyan said.

“Keep children in families” program allows Ucom mobile connection subscribers to donate AMD 200 or 500 by sending an SMS to 1234 and 5678 short numbers. At the end of the month, Ucom Foundation doubles the amount and allocates it to realize the program.

Families receive funds and equipment to ensure a stable source of income and opportunity to raise the children in their families.
