Ahead of Demo Day: Сartly to deliver food products

Microsoft Innovation Center Armenia (MIC) will conclude its Acceleration Program for innovative solution startups that included 12 local startups, by Demo Day on February 21 at Ayb School.

The teams will introduce results of the work they completed in the last months to IT specialists, potential investors and entrepreneurs on that day.

On the eve of Demo Day, MIC Armenia and Itel.am  present the stories of 12 startups.

Сartly is a mobile app for online food shopping.

It is available in Google Play .

After downloading the app, you can choose the product, fill the basket, write down the address and hour of the delivery and order.

The founder of the startup is Mostafa Sadjadi from Iran.

He told Itel.am that in 10 days into the launching the application was downloaded for 520 times and 50 orders were completed. There are 21 daily users.

“Cartly iOS version will be ready at the beginning of March. The experience shows that 24-40 year old people are the main users of the app, as they have limited time, tense work schedules and children”, Mostafa Sadjadi.

According to him, Cartly is expanding and they expect to have 1200 daily orders by the end of the year.

“In order to achieve this, we need to attract investors. We need USD 60 000 investment for the coming 8 months. We will use it to expand the technical staff and improve logistic issues”, stated Mostafa Sadjadi.

Cartly is expected to enter Iranian market in September and the Georgian in 2017.

Cartly started the whole product within the Acceleration Program.

“The biggest value of the program is to show the teams the right path and keep them motivated. The staff has a lot of experience in a lot of issues and we have heated discussions that almost always lead to better solutions. The atmosphere at the center is very motivating. Sometimes you get tired, disappointed and want to leave everything, but that atmosphere keeps you always active. We move forward together, helping one another”, concluded the founder of Cartly.
