Rostelecom Armenia joins International Internet Exchange Centers

GNC-Alfa CJSC offering services under Rostelecom trademark has joined DE-CIX Frankfurt and MSK-IX Moscow International Internet Exchange Centers.

The company has directed its investments at two international and independent from each other fiber-optic systems, thus ensuring the geographical and technical independence of networks.

Owing to these platforms, Rostelecom network has directly connected to the resources of international telecommunications (France Telecom, Telia Sonera, Telenor, Deutshche Telekom, etc.) and reputable Internet providing (Google, Facebook, e-Bay, Apple, etc.) companies.

“Joining the International Internet Exchange Centers aims to improve the quality of services rendered to corporate clients and the population, and to ensure competitive advantage in the market,” reads the press release.
