Froo Zoo: Armenian game will help save animals

Froo Zoo game developed in Armenia in 2013 is meant for protecting animals.

Froo Zoo has 90 thousand users and is available on AppStore, Google Play as well as Facebook.

A monkey is traveling around the world saving animals in the zoos. You can help him do that with right fruit.

Froo Zoo is founded by David Buniatyan. The game was developed by Cyclop Studio in cooperation with Geno6 and Genome Ventures.

Talking to Itel.am, David Buniatyan said that although the game was fully developed in Armenia they also cooperated with Ukrainian game designers, and the game producer is from Moscow.

Froo Zoo is available for free download but it also has paid functions.

“The game will also address a social issue- some percentage of the profits will be allocated to animal protection. Through the game, we try to show our love for animals and our wish to protect them. We support initiatives which help children and teenagers realize that nature and animal protection is a long-term and necessary process”, noted David Buniatyan.

According to him, they are currently working to attract investors. They will do a research to find out the “reputation” of the game among users and how much money it can bring.

“Using the information, we will try to develop the game using innovative solutions as well possibly within new projects. We think we will continue creating new games and mechanisms”, the founder of the game said.

The game was most of all downloaded in the U.S., UK, Russia, Armenia and Germany.

By the way, a Russian comedian Pavel Volya posted on his Instagram page a photo from Froo Zoo noting that he had liked it. The game also appeared among top Android apps list of the American major AT&T company.
