For the fourth time already the “Golden Apricot” Yerevan International Film Festival and the webtv.am online cultural TV channel launch the “WebApricot” Pan-Armenian Online Film Festival upon the general sponsorship of VivaCell-MTS. The festival will be held from November 18, 2014 till February 25, 2015.
“It’s the fourth time that VivaCell-MTS supports WebApricot Panamanian Online Film Festival, an important cultural event where the next generation of Armenian filmmakers appears before the public. The Festival provides beginners an opportunity to present their films to a wider audience without having to make significant financial investment, attract sponsors and without crossing borders. Thanks to this important initiative Amateur filmmakers from all over the world are provided a unique venue to unfold their talent, become famous and attract public attention, as well as film-producers’ interest to their works. Committed to supposing the youth in its cultural endeavors, VivaCell-MTS wishes a lot of success to our young Armenian filmmakers in realization of their projects,” VivaCell-MTS General Manager Ralph Yirikian told.
The festival has 1 main and 2 incentive prizes. The 1st prize winner will be granted AMD 400 000 and a special diploma. The winners of incentive prizes will receive special diplomas. The main as well as the incentive prize winners will also have an opportunity to use professional movie making equipment free of charge for 10 days.
The film that has the largest number of views will receive the incentive “Sympathy” award and a special diploma.
The results of the “WebApricot” 4th Pan-Armenian Online Film Festival will be announced during the awarding ceremony to be held in the period from February 25 to March 5, 2015. The results will be summed up by professional juries.
The films presented at the 4th “WebApricot” Pan-Armenian Online Film Festival will be shown exclusively on webtv.am cultural Internet TV channel.
