ArmenTel continues increasing computer literacy in country’s regions

ArmenTel (Beeline trademark) continues cooperation with “Business Development and Support Center” NGO to support the Vanadzor regional computer center.

Within the framework of the project, which was launched in 2009, the activity of the computer center has been significantly expanded. In particular, along with teaching basics of programming a new project “Young technician” kicked off in January 2013, aimed to provide an opportunity to everyone aged 12 and older to gain practical skills in dealing with digital technology.  It’s noteworthy that school students of not only Vanadzor bur also Dsegh village take part in the works of the group.

“Young Technician” group is led by a highly-qualified specialist, member of “Internet Society” of Armenia organization (ISOC.AM) Vahan Misakyan. The Project Manager is ISOC.AM member, software developer Margarita Solomonyan.

“It’s almost impossible to receive good education in the modern world without elementary computer skills. Digital technologies became the inseparable part of our life, they help us study, work and communicate. ArmenTel continues to preserve its leading positions on the Armenian Internet market.
