Starting today, MegaFon subscribers in Russia will be able to transfer money from their mobile account to Orange subscribers’ accounts, independently if they are in Armenia or in Russia – travelling with their roaming service.
The service of credit transfer can be used via the special webpage https://oplata.megafon.ru/order/1184290 or through SMS, by sending a message to the 3116 short number and mentioning in the text the number of the receiving customer in international format +374 95/55 XXXXXX and the amount of payment, separated by spaces, the company informs.
The one-shot amount of the transfer should be between 20 and 5,000 RUR. MegaFon customers can make credit transfers every day, with a limitation on the daily transfer at 15,000 RUR and on monthly transfer at 40,000 RUR. Every time before trying to transfer money, customers should make sure they have at least 10 RUR remaining on their MegaFon account.
A commission of 3.3 % will be applied in case of online transfers, while in case of transfers through SMS, the commission rate will be at 4.95%.
The cooperation between Orange and MegaFon started in March 2012, with a unique roaming offer, thanks to which Orange customers travelling in Russia can roam on the MegaFon network and enjoy exclusive 30 AMD/min rate for outgoing and incoming calls to and from Orange Armenia and MegaFon customers, as well as 30 AMD tariff for GPRS.
