Yerevan/Mediamax/. VivaCell-MTS has presented its Career Development Program at Education and Career EXPO 2012, started today in Yerevan.
In the scope of the Career Development Program various projects are being implemented directed to students, professors, schoolchildren and, in general, to the development of the educational sphere, company informs.
During the 4 years of the Career Development Program about 64 lectures for more than 5000 students were delivered by the General Manager of VivaCell-MTS, Memorandum of Understanding was signed with approximately 37 higher educational institutions, 26 Open Doors sessions were organized for more than 450 students and schoolchildren from Yerevan and the regions, 6 VivaCell-MTS School sessions were held in the premises of the Company, more than 250 students were hosted for internship in VivaCell-MTS respective units, 200 students benefit from the Education Fund program, about 29 universities were equipped with computed auditoriums with new PCs, printers, interactive boards, laser projectors, internet access and other modern equipments.
VivaCell-MTS is one of those few companies where the people with special needs and their problems are given special attention and care. Nowadays there are over 37 people with special needs working with the Company, and the attitude to them can’t be described other than respect, dignity, equity, and humility.
“VivaCell-MTS has developed a unique Program of Career Development aimed at helping students combine theory with practice, develop and use skills in a real working environment. This way we are trying to share with the younger generation the extensive pull of practical knowledge developed in the course of our activities, which will help them self-realize in the Motherland, stay and create value for the own country” said VivaCell-MTS General Manager Ralph Yirikian at the opening ceremony of the Expo.
The Education and Career EXPO 2012 will be held from November 14 to 16 in the Yerevan Computer Research and Development Institute (Mergelyan Institute). The aim of the Expo is to provide information to schoolchildren and students regarding the whole spectrum of modern educational approaches and techniques, encourage creating new business relationship schemes between educational institutions, inform about most demanded specializations in the labor market, organize meetings between employers and job seekers, encourage state, private and public sectors to come up with new educational initiatives.
