Yerevan/Mediamax/. VivaCell-MTS allots around AMD 27 millions to the European Regional Academy’s two fully equipped labs at the department of Microelectronic circuits and systems.
A year ago the parties took steps to implement projects set by the trilateral agreements. VivaCell-MTS invested AMD 15 million in the establishment of the first educational lab, while Synopsys Armenia granted certificated for 20 educational packages of electronic automated design software to the European Regional Academy.
Synopsys granted 20 more certificates this year. VivaCell-MTS’s total investment has amounted to AMD 42 million.

“Our cooperation with Synopsys Armenia and VivaCell-MTS greatly facilitates improvement of bachelor degree educational programs by offering students in information technologies professional knowledge and skills on a new level especially in the sphere of microelectronics,” says the rector of the Academy Andranik Avetisyan.
Owing to VivaCell-MTS financial support, the laboratory premise will be adapted to educational needs and standards and will be equipped with computers. VivaCell-MTS financial support will also cover the salaries and other remuneration of instructors.
