ArmenTel calls on subscribers to use only certified \"mini-MTS\"

Yerevan/Mediamax/. \"ArmenTel\" (Beeline trademark) informs its subscribers that they have observed cases of illegal remote interference of criminal elements into the operation of local (office) automatic phone stations  (MATS/PBX) recently.

As a result, international calls were made  from the numbers of MATS owners without their knowledge which entailed considerable debts.

In this respect, \"ArmenTel\" CJSC recalls that in accord with the Article 55 of the law \"On Electronic Communication\" of the Republic of Armenia, a subscriber is obliged not to use uncertified terminal unit. The fulfillment of this legislative requirement allows avoiding the above mentioned situations. At the same time, \"ArmenTel\" CJSC warns that in case of connection of  an uncertified equipment, he is fully responsible for the risks related to its use.
