Yerevan/Mediamax/. Orange Fund supported the furnishing of kindergarten in Arevashogh village of Lori region in Armenia.
Located right next to Spitak, Arevashogh village was almost completely destroyed during the earthquake of 1988, but today it has 3250 inhabitants. It did not have a kindergarten till today. The building, constructed by the means of the community and government, is now completely ready to welcome 60 pupils of pre-school age.
«We consider that issues related to children, their education, cultural development are the most important issues as future successes of every country depend on our attention to children today. We wish to the village that very soon the kindergarten will be too small to host all children that are ready to attend it» - Bruno Duthoit, Chairman of Board of the Orange Foundation said.
The kindergarten has been constructed with the financial means of the community and government in 2011. “Shen” charitable NGO has had its contribution for the organizational costs of furnishing the kindergarten as well as purchasing toys and books.
Orange Armenia Foundation has allotted 7.3 million AMD to acquire the furniture.
