VivaCell-MTS and Microsoft award the teachers –innovators

Yerevan/Mediamax/. The ceremony of awarding teachers applying innovative teaching methods was held today, during the “Innovative Teachers” forum organized by “Microsoft RA” and Ministry of Education and Science of Armenia with VivaCell-MTS support.

Director of “Microsoft RA” Grigor Barseghyan stated that the forum aims to encourage applying information technologies during the teaching process.

“I am glad to say that the project evokes interest among teachers year by year and we register serious success. The grand prix winner of last, year, teacher Narine Baghdasaryan, was awarded the honorary grand prix for her innovative method”, he said.

In his turn, VivaCell-MTS General Manager Ralph Yirikian stated: “We have a potential which should be used for stable development of the country”.

41 projects were presented at “Innovative Teachers” forum this year and 13 of them passed to the final round. Participants granted prizes in three nominations set by VivaCell-MTS to have got HTS phones, were selected out of the projects which passed to the final round.

Teacher of “Ohanyan” school Anna Galstyan was awarded the grand prix of Microsoft and VivaCell-MTS for “Universe is very close” work. Hs will represent Armenia in the European Forum due to be held in Lisbon on March 19-29.
