Armenia\'s Minister of Transport and Communication to participate in \'\'ITU Telecom World 2011 \'\' forum in Geneva

Yerevan/Mediamax/. \'\'ITU Telecom World 2011\'\' forum organized by International Telecommunication Union is due to be held in Geneva (Switzerland) on October 25-27, and the Armenian delegation headed by Minister of Transport and Communication Manuk Vardanyan will take part in the forum.

Manuk Vardanyan will meet with the Secretary General of ITU Hamadoun Toure and Development Director of ITU Brahima Sanou within the forum, Mediamax was informed in the press service of the Ministry of Transport and Communication.

The forum will focus on discussions on the future of the internet, free and secure data transfer, ensuring of broadband mobile network and use of innovative technologies as well as studying models of successful cooperation between public and private sectors.

Besides, a technical exhibition on the topic of telecommunication technologies and their applications will be organized. Digital and communication technologies and tools for a number of companies will also be exhibited in separate pavilions.
