ArmenTel increases the volume of high-speed internet within “Drive” tariff plan

Yerevan/Mediamax/.ArmenTel increased the volume of high-speed mobile internet within “Drive” tariff plan.

Starting from September 1, 2011, all the current and new subscribers of “Drive” postpaid tariff plan will be provided with 5 GB high-speed Internet instead of former 3 GB on a monthly basis. After consuming the high-speed internet package the channel transmission capacity will slow down to 256 Kbps.

“Upon the start of the new academic year, \'\'ArmenTel\'\' makes surprises for schoolchildren and students. Young people make the considerable portion of those clients who use mobile internet access and we are glad to encourage users of Armenia\'s universal operator by setting a new quality level of our services\'\', noted ArmenTel CEO Igor Klimko.

The monthly subscriber charge for the \'\'Drive\'\' mobile internet tariff plan makes AMD 6000. Upon concluding a 12-month contract on using \'\'Drive\'\' tariff plan subscribers will be provided with free USD modem.

In early August, \'\'ArmenTel\'\' announced the expansion of 3Gnetwork in the settlements of Agarak, Ashotsk, Berd, Yeghegnadzor, Kajaran, Maralik, Meghri, Noyemberyan, Sisian, Stepanavan, Talin, Tashir, Chambarak and a number of rural communities throughout the country.
