Armenian mobile operators reduce paid taxes by over 20%

Yerevan/Mediamax/. In the first half-year of 2011, three Armenian mobile operators paid AMD 13.6bln taxes  which is by AMD 3.7bln or by 21,4% less as compared to the first half-year of 2010.
   
4 telecommunication companies were included into the top 100 list of Armenian taxpayers in the first half-year.

“ArmenTel” (Beeline trademark) ranked fourth in terms of volume of paid taxes, Mediamax reports. The total sum of the taxes paid by the company in the first half- year made AMD6bln 854mln 706.6 thousand, having reduced by 6% as compared to the first half-year of 2010 (AMD 424mln).

“K-Telecom” (VivaCell MTS trademark) ranks seventh, having paid AMD 4bln 754mln 075.2 thousand taxes (decrease by 2.5bln or by 34.6%)

As of the first half-year, “Orange Armenia” ranks 11th among the taxpayers: it paid AMD 2bln 52mln 827.5 thousand (decrease by 27.4% or by AMD776.2mln).

GNC Alpha network services operator ranks 88th (AMD 449mln 917.5 thousand).
