34 000 notebooks and netbooks imported to Armenia in 2010-04.05.11

Yerevan/Mediamax/. “Orange Armenia” joined “Computers for All” governmental program, in the frames of which computer interest-free sale on credit with 2 years of repayment period will be organized in the company’s stores.

Mediamax reports that a cooperation memorandum was signed in Yerevan today among “Enterprise Incubator Foundation” Broad of Trustees’ President, Armenian Minister of Economy Tigran Davtyan and “Orange Armenia” CEO Bruno Duthoit.

Director of “Enterprise Incubator Foundation” Bagrat Yengibaryan stated that over 17 thousand computers have already been sold within the framework of “Computers for All” program and the fact evidences the program’s justification.

Bagrat Yengibaryan also informed that the program has also seriously increased the volumes of computer equipment imported to Armenia. “For instance I should note that about 34 000 notebooks and netbooks have been imported to Armenia in 2010, as compared to 6000 in 2009”, Bagrat Yengibaryan stated.

Bruno Duthoit informed that the sale of computers will be realized in all customer service offices of the company, including in the regions, noting that “Computer for All” program is concordant with the Company’s policy on securing internet access in all settlements of Armenia.
