Within the framework of partnership between “ArmenTel” Company and Cafesjian Art Center, two new programs for children have been launched

Yerevan/Mediamax/. New programs for children “Rainbow of Arts” and “The Earth is my planet”, realized given support of “ArmenTel” Company (Beeline trademark), have launched in Cafesjian Art Center.

Mediamax was informed in the press service of “ArmenTel” that within the framework of “Rainbow of Arts” cycle, schoolchildren will get the chance to participate in talks on arts and classic music. For the first time the participants learnt the story of “Moonlight Sonata” creation, the symbolical peculiarities of Komitas statue, heard the lifetime recording of Komitas and the great Armenian poet Paruyr Sevak and were familiarized with the details of creation of “Aida” opera. The program was concluded by the performance of “Ars Lunga” famous violin and piano duet.

“The Earth is our planet” program is held within the framework of Armenian glass designer Henikh Nikolyan’s exhibition. Schoolchildren of 6-12 grades will be familiarized with the exhibits, which touch upon issues of ecology, and in the “Arts Hall” the representatives of ecology organizations will tell them about modern environmental protection problems. The first participants were the students of Nor-Kharberd N2 School. After viewing the exhibits, given assistance of ecologists, children discussed the issue of preservation of forests and participated in an arts seminar, which aimed at creation of thematic works.  

“The task of our programs for children is to unite the processes of creation and learning, make the stay in Cafesjian Arts Center unforgettable for every child. It is impossible to overestimate the importance of the educational component in the museum of a 21st century, and it is extremely important for us to constantly realize such initiatives”, Acting Executive Director of Cafesjian Arts Center Vahagn Marabyan stated.
