UITE to present a package of draft laws on developing e-commerce to the Armenian government

Yerevan/Mediamax/. Union of IT Enterprises (UITE) of Armenia will elaborate and present to the consideration of the government a package of draft laws, necessary for development of e-commerce.

Mediamax reports referring to the Union’s action plan for 2011 that the package of draft laws provides for changes, in particular, in tax and customs legislation and the law on “Currency Regulation and Control”.

The press service noted that the legislative suggestions also include establishment of a structure to protect the interests of companies, which render payment and account services, solution of problems, related to warranty service of imported goods, customs administration and export of high technology production.
