Suggestions of international scientific organizations concerning Candle project discussed in the Armenian government

Yerevan/Mediamax/. Session of Candle Program Coordination Council took place in the Armenian government today, headed by the Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Sargsian.

Mediamax was informed in the press service of the government that information on the opportunities and the results of work on international cooperation within the framework of the program was presented at the session. Members of the Council also discussed the suggestions of international scientific organizations and experts, interested in funding the preparation stage, as well as the issue of allocating a plot of land for Candle center for construction of the synchrotron emission accelerator.

In May, 2010, the Armenian government approved the draft program on setting up Candle international center on the basis of the synchrotron emission accelerator. By this decision, the state announced its share participation in the scientific project at the volume of 25% from all the expenses.

“Share participation of the state in the scientific project will become an additional stimulus for attracting foreign investments”, Armenian Prime Minister stated then.
