Mobile internet provides for 40% of Orange Armenia incomes

Yerevan/Mediamax/. Orange Armenia operator is working over increasing the network transmission capacity and within summer it will start sale of 3G+ modems supporting speed of up to 14.4Mb/sec, Vice-President France Telecom Olaf Swantee stated today.

Mediamax reports that the General Director of Orange Armenia Bruno Duthoit stated that to this end the company is carrying out network modernization on the entire territory of its coverage.

Olaf Swantee stated that the impetuous growth of the number of Orange wireless internet subscribers evidences the importance of this service for Armenian subscribers. He noted that the services of wireless internet provide for 10-15% of Orange incomes in European countries, but in Armenia this index makes 40%.
