Yerevan/Mediamax/. The government’s concept of e-society will allow Armenia keeping up with global technologic development.
Mediamax reports that the Head of High and Information Technologies Department of Armenian Ministry of Economy Vache Kirakosyan said this today. He stated that the concept is based on technologic solutions of the next generation, due to which “our country will not fall behind this world”.
Vache Kirakosyan noted that the new document defines a complex of measures, allowing implementing a system of electronic management in Armenia and various electronic services, developing broadband internet, etc.
Secretary of the Council to assist development of information technologies Armen Grigoryan stated that the main goal of the concept is to systematize the work of e-management systems existing in the country and secure uninterrupted connection between them and the society.
Executive Director of Synopsys Armenia Company Hovik Musaelyan welcomed the idea of establishing e-society, noting that “this is the only document, approved in the recent years, implementation of which will bring tangible results both for business and the country in general”.
