Beeline has over 18 thousand broadband internet subscribers

Yerevan /Mediamax/. The net operating proceeds of “ArmenTel” (Beeline trademark) made 19bln 167mln AMD in the III quarter, 2009.

Mediamax reports referring the financial and operating results of “VimpelCom” OJSC that the net operating proceeds of “ArmenTel” in the accounting period reduced by 7.8%, as compared to the same period in 2008. At that, the operating proceeds of the company increased by 5%, as compared to the II quarter, 2009.

Beeline subscriber base in Armenia reduced by 36%, as compared to the III quarter, 2008, making 502 thousands. At that, the operator’s subscriber base increased by 3.3%, as compared to the II quarter, 2009.

The number of Beeline broadband internet subscribers in Armenia made 18.1 thousands in the third quarter, having increased for 12.7 thousands, as compared to the analogous period of last year. At that, the number of the operator’s broadband internet subscribers reduced for 1.1 thousands, as compared to the II quarter, 2009.

Beeline’s average monthly revenue per user (ARPU) of mobile connection in Armenia made 5117.2 AMD in the third quarter, having increased by 21.8%, as compared to the analogous period of 2008. As compared to the second quarter, 2009, the ARPU index increased by 1.6%.

MOU (minutes of use per a subscriber per month) index increased by 92.3% in the third quarter, as compared to the analogous period in 2008, and made 269 minutes.--0--
