Yerevan /Mediamax/. "K-Telecom" CJSC ("VivaCell-MTS" trademark) headed the list of 300 top taxpayers in Armenia following the results of the three quarters of 2009.
Mediamax reports that in January-September the company paid taxes at the total sum of 12 bln 710 mln 809.9 thousand AMD.
Second and third places in the list, respectively, are occupied by "ArmenTel" CJSC ("Beeline" trademark) (10 bln 794 mln 487.6 thousand) and "Alex Grig" LLC (10 bln 741 mln 130.3 thousand).
The list of top ten taxpayers included also the following companies: "ArmRosGazprom" (10 bln 714 mln 595.8 thousand), "Flash" (8 bln 399 mln 520.4 thousand), "City Petrol Group" (5 bln 783 mln 981.3 thousand), "Electric Networks of Armenia" (4 bln 575 mln 066,7 thousand), "Vidis Distribution" (4 bln 574 mln 797,6 thousand), "International Masis Tabak" (3 bln 843 mln 019.4 thousand) and "Orange Armenia" (3 bln 574 mln 835 thousand).
As to social payments, in the first three quarters of 2009, the leading companies are "Electric Networks of Armenia" (1 bln 559 mln 738,4 thousand), "ArmRosGazprom" (970 mln) and "Nairit" Chemical Plant (789 mln 286,7 thousand).
As to the number of employees, "Electric Networks of Armenia" occupies the first place among Armenian taxpayers (7574 employees). The second and the third places are respectively occupied by "ArmRosGazprom" (5845 employees) and the "South Caucasus Railroad" (4537 employees).
