Armenia NSS to set up a special node to prevent attacks to servers of state establishments

Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenian government approved today a number of legislative changes, resulting from the Concept of Information Security, which was approved on April 26.

As the Director of the National Security Service (NSS) of Armenia Gorik Hakobyan stated at the session of the government today, NSS will set up a special node of international computer network - Internet, which will provide security of the generally accessible information in electronic documents of Armenian state establishments.

NSS Head informed that the corresponding equipment for the special node will be installed in technologic spaces of internet providers.

Gorik Hakobyan stated that the special node will allow filtering the possible external viruses and preventing attacks on servers of state establishments.
