Ucom continues serving fixed-line subscribers at home

Ucom continues serving fixed-line subscribers at home. The company conducts communications services in accordance with the regulations established by the Commandant’s Office, which indicates that telecommunications companies must provide services remotely and online, with exception for urgent repair efforts.

“It is a matter of principle for us to provide quality services in the shortest terms. We had to halt technical works for two weeks because of the coronavirus outbreak, but we understand the importance of internet access for remote work and distance learning, both of which help the healthcare system curb the outbreak.

That is why Ucom has resumed urgent service and equipped the technicians with protective gear. It protects the staff and the clients. The gear is disinfected before and after the technicians’ visit. Ucom employees follow all regulations established by the Commandant’s Office and the Health Ministry. Stay safe, stay at home, and we will keep you connected with the world,” said Ucom co-founder, Director General Hayk Yesayan.

“We switched to remote work a long time ago, which has its challenges, but today we have the gear and tools to follow safety rules while serving the subscribers,” said Davit Grigoryan, head of technical works in Arabkir department of Ucom.

The operator’s sale and customer care services are closed temporarily. Services are provided online.
