Rostelecom adds more online learning opportunities

Rostelecom has taken more measures to make online learning more accessible.

The company has enabled all cable TV operators in Armenia to re-broadcast the company’sHybrid Edu (ch121) channel via Smart TV.

“Given the importance of distance learning in these circumstances, we have decided to give our colleagues the opportunity to make this channel available to their viewers. We are certain that only through joint efforts we can solve the issues caused by a difficult situation,” said Rostelecom Armenia CEO Hayk Faramazyan.

In cooperation with Hybrid Solutions, last week Rostelecom announced the launch of new educational TV channel (Hybrid Edu (ch121)). The channel broadcasts video lessons on several school subjects, led by Armenia’s best teachers and filmed by the Armenian Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport.

From now on, the channel will broadcast online learning materials of the Armenian office of Khan Academy, made by Ayb Educational Foundation.
