Vanadzor opens a playground renovated by Rostelecom

A renovated playground with modern equipment has opened in “Mother and child” park in Vanadzor on September 13 with support from Rostelecom.

The official opening ceremony was attended by Vanadzor Mayor Mamikon Aslanyan and Rostelecom Armenia CEO Hayk Faramazyan. They walked around the park to see the result of Rostelecom’s efforts and later invited local children to the playground, where entertainment was organized for them.

“For children, the time they spend playing in the yard with their friends matters, and all the simple games matter. This is the foundation of healthy lifestyle and society. Rostelecom has been implementing programs for improving conditions for children in various communities for many years. We have established one more continuous private sector-public sector partnership through cooperation with Vanadzor Municipality, which will be beneficial for the city and for each member of the community. The new academic year has just started, and the children now have the conditions to move and play in the renovated park playground along with developing mentally. I would like to thank all Vanadzor residents and Mayor Aslanyan for cooperation,” said Rostelecom Armenia CEO Hayk Faramazyan.
